Description
This course discusses the anatomy and pathophysiology of organs of interest, the flow dynamics in blood vessels, the appearance of normal and abnormal waveforms and the physics and instrumentation of ultrasound. Case reviews present physics and artifacts, gray scale spectral and color Doppler imaging of the peripheral vasculature, and musculoskeletal ultrasound of some of the more common entities that are encountered in practice.
